In this post, we will try to review one of the products offered by Alibaba Cloud, namely Domain.

Alibaba Cloud was founded in September 2009. Its R&D centers and operations centers were later opened in Hangzhou, Beijing, and Silicon Valley. Currently, Alibaba Cloud, also known as Aliyun, is a multinational cloud computing company, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group.

Alibaba Cloud provides cloud computing services for online businesses and Alibaba’s own e-commerce ecosystem, and is considered the largest global public cloud provider, behind its top three competitors. While the parent company is based in Hangzhou, China, its international operations are registered and headquartered in Singapore. Alibaba Cloud offers cloud services available on a pay-as-you-go basis, and include Elastic Compute, Data Storage, Relational Database, Big-Data Processing, Anti-DDoS protection and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).

Why do we use Alibaba Cloud as our registrar of choice? Following are some of the main reasons why we chose Alibaba Cloud:

1. Competitive price! A little information, we once got a special price of $3.90 because there was a promotion for new users. (Domain Name Service: Domain Name Search & Bulk Registration – Alibaba Cloud)

2. The name of Alibaba Cloud has been well-known for its excellent quality in the IT environment

3. Many of our colleagues have used domains from Alibaba Cloud and have gotten satisfactory results.

Now, we will start to tell what we have felt after using the domain from Alibaba Cloud. What we feel about Alibaba Cloud:

1. Very responsive customer support. In fact, on the website page that I shared earlier, Alibaba Cloud claims that they have 24/7 customer support which is a positive thing.

2. There is a representative from Alibaba Cloud who contacted us for a follow-up regarding the products we have purchased. We feel very appreciated by Alibaba Cloud!

3. Low price does not mean low quality. We haven’t had any problems while using domains from Alibaba Cloud.

4. Very easy DNS changing process!. We can control and manage the domains that we have purchased easily.

5. Alibaba Cloud’s security needs to be applauded because the protection is so high. Even if we want to change our DNS, we need to enter the OTP code sent by Alibaba Cloud. This of course gives us a sense of security.

Actually there are more positive things that we feel while using domains from Alibaba Cloud, but it seems that the five points above are enough to describe how satisfied we are in using services from Alibaba Cloud. If you want to buy a domain, don’t hesitate to consider Alibaba Cloud because the services provided are very optimal.
